Our Team

Mike Friedmann is an Associate at Summit Leadership Partners with experience spanning financial services, consulting, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. He works with executives and leadership teams to strengthen leadership capabilities, navigate complex interpersonal and organizational dynamics, and improve individual and team effectiveness. Mike began his career as a financial analyst at The Royal Bank of Scotland and IBM before founding Right-Brained Economics, a learning and development organization focused on building the financial capabilities of professionals.

Driven by an interest in the human dynamics that shape individual and organizational performance, Mike shifted his career toward psychology, executive coaching, and leadership development. For the past decade, he has advised and coached fund managers, entrepreneurs, bankers, consultants, and other professionals on leadership development, team dynamics, social and emotional intelligence, feedback, communication, and conflict resolution. He has also conducted behavioral science research at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management.

Mike earned a BA in Economics and an MA in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, where he also completed a certification in executive coaching. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D., also at Columbia, focused on executive coaching and how it can support sustained behavior change.
