Bernie brings over 20 years of financial experience working with middle-market companies and global corporations across various industries.  He oversees Summit’s financial activities, directs the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and creates forecasts predicting future growth. Alongside his motivation towards professional excellence, Bernie possesses a passion for leadership and is a versatile problem solver dedicated to boosting companies’ accountability to ensure long-term financial success.  His industry experience includes private equity, professional services, staffing, and retail.

Bernie’s extensive reporting and analytical focus have proven to be key components for driving sustainable business growth. Prior to joining Summit Leadership Partners, Bernie played an integral role in the growth and final acquisition of one of the largest privately held IT resourcing and services providers in North America, Ettain Group.  Ettain is now a part of Manpower Group’s Experis business. Here his responsibilities included financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and private equity reporting.  Bernie also held various financial positions at Lowe’s Home Improvement, Compass Group, and KPMG.

Bernie holds a Bachelor of Science, in Business Administration in Accounting from Appalachian State University.
