Our history
Summit was founded in 2014 by Dan Hawkins after decades as a former CHRO in both Fortune 500 and private equity backed companies. Dan saw a need for a more courageous, practical and data-driven approach to leadership advisory and consulting in private equity and the mid-market. Since then, Summit has attracted some of the finest talent and organizational performance experts in the industry and helped a wide range of businesses meet the demanding expectations of boards and investors.
