Tiwi Marira, PhD
Managing Consultant
Tiwi is a skilled executive coach and talent assessment leader with over 14 years of consulting and advisory experience. As a Managing Consultant, he leverages his expertise to deeply understand his clients’ business goals, providing executive leadership teams with actionable and business-focused solutions to their most critical talent questions. This client-centric approach enables Tiwi to support executive teams across private equity, technology, and healthcare in building deeper benches of talent and identifying leaders capable of delivering on differentiated value-creation plans.
Before joining Summit, Tiwi led best-in-class organizations, such as Meta (Facebook) and Amazon, in building state-of-the-art interviewing and global talent selection systems that routinely touched over 100,000 candidates a year. He previously also held consulting positions at firms, such as BTS and Korn Ferry where he leveraged his expertise in leadership assessment to advise firms on high-stakes selection decisions for executive leadership roles.
Tiwi earned his Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Industrial Organizational Psychology from The Graduate Center (City University of New York). His Bachelor’s degree in Psychology was earned at the University of Georgia. He is a former Ford Foundation Research Fellow and has won over $100,000 in research grants from institutions such as the National Science Foundation and the Mina Rees Dissertation Fellowship.
