Consulting Operations Project Manager / Analyst

Summit Leadership Partners is high-growth consulting firm looking for a critical and unique person to support the consulting delivery organization with both analytic and project management skills. This role will be working closely with our consulting team to coordinate project management activities, resources, and information across the company. This role will create measures, track progress, and analyze trends important to delivery excellence. This person must be able to help organize clients and consultants while maintaining a good relationship and attitude. This person will also be responsible for coordinating and launching surveys, reviewing the data, and creating charts and reports in Microsoft Dynamics. This role may also support consultants on certain presentations by helping to create and refine powerpoint presentations, take notes during training meetings and create summaries. The role will report directly to the leader of Consulting Delivery and will work directly with the executive team, consultants, and clients to drive standard processes and timely delivery across the company.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects and tracking of key metrics across the delivery organization
• Help create tracking and reporting from Microsoft Dynamics ERP to track critical KPIs for the delivery organization (including consultant utilization, capacity, project timelines, scope and more)
• Look across all projects to analyze and report trends for on-time delivery, scope, and budget/price
• Develop detailed project plans to track progress for organization assessments, executive assessments, and other client engagements as needed
• Develop project scopes and objectives while involving all relevant stakeholders
• Make sure that internal and external clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise with a positive attitude
• Act as the point of contact and communicate status for all critical metrics and reporting for the delivery organization
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for both internal and external use
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Be a direct relationship manager for the client, third-party vendors and all stakeholders for critical projects
• Identify and manage risks for critical measures across the company
• Support analysis and reporting by helping identify key themes and insights from data and translating those themes into effective presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel graphs)
• Help with online facilitations through technical support, annotations, notetaking, etc.
• Create communications plans, launch surveys, track reminders, collect and analyze the data and input into reports and presentations (experience with Excel and Qualtrics preferred)
• Develop new tools and processes to improve the coordination, reporting and delivery of client-facing projects

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• 1-3 years of applicable work experience in project management, from conception to delivery
• Some technical background with understanding or hands-on experience with surveys and basic data analysis, statistics, and summarization
• Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a positive outlook and attitude even when there are timelines changing or other challenges to the plan
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, time-management and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Preference for some experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar ERP)
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Process-oriented
• Ability to work autonomously, completing assignments without too much managerial oversight
• Must be dependable and relied on to uphold responsibilities and meet all deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications
• Related experience with ERP analytics, Project Management
• 2-3 years in prior project management role
• Experience in consulting or services firm environment
• PMP or similar certification
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
