Role Description
We are currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity to our firm as the Executive Assistant. This role will provide administrative, office management, and consultant project support. We are looking for someone who can manage all administrative support while also be open to new responsibilities and projects as we continue to grow. Our ideal candidate is one who is ready for a challenge, interested in growing with the organization, willing to think outside of the box, and will thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Initially, the person will manage mostly business-related tasks for consultant client delivery such as client management and reports, while juggling office management responsibilities. In addition, the incumbent will be asked to prepare reports, presentations and lead various projects involving research and analysis. The individual in this role must have a strong understanding of the entire MS Office Suite, as well as exceptional skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Given Summit’s entrepreneurial and dynamic work environment; flexibility, exceptional organization skills, and teamwork are critical. General accountabilities will include the following:
– Organization of assigned consultants’ business activities to include but not limited to scheduling, client meetings, reports, etc.
– Regular interaction with clients, vendors, employees, and other key stakeholders.
– Assist with creating excel reports, analyses, and PowerPoint presentations.
– Some lite research on the market, competition, trends, and areas as requested.
– Provide general administrative support for the executive team.
– Help prepare our team for important meetings, speaking engagements, and major events.
– Manage the Charlotte office in areas such as supplies, organization, filing, greeting guests /vendors (only on occasion), and making our office a fun, inclusive and open environment.
– Support Operations Director with advanced excel reporting, analyses, and charts.
– Maintain the strictest confidentiality on all matters.
Qualifications:
– In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite – must have excellent excel and power point skills.
– Successful experience working in a fast growing, dynamic business environment.
– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or another related field required
– Highly organized with ability to prioritize in an entrepreneurial culture.
– A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and decision-making.
– Professional verbal and written communications skill – must help us delight our clients!
– Highly confidential and professional on all sensitive matters.
– Ability to learn, expand scope in the future, and scale as the company grows.
